While driving from Montgmercy county PA thru lower Bucks county on my way to Trenton NJ to pick the wife up at the train. I looked to my left along the highway where there is an open field next to a graveyard. Not far from where 276 turns into rote 1 I believe. Anyway, I look to my left while traveling East to Trenton and see at dusk a rather larger dog sized animal walking past the graveyard and past the open field.
Now I wouldnt think anything unusual. This "dog" however is quite unusual. Long and lean like a grey hound but with long pointy ears leaning back in an aero dynamic way.
The front legs looked a little shorter than the rear legs and the tail was very long and snakey.
Here's the kicker, it was a very dark grey ish or almost black color and.....seemingly had no hair or ver, very short hair.
You could see this animal had small folds of flesh around the neck as it held it's head tight against it's long neck.
It looked almost exactly like those pics of the "Chupa Cabra" dog like animal they are finding in texas more often.
It made me think this might have been some form of feral dog mutation or cross breed between maybe a greyhound and a coyote or wolf or some other such animal.
To me it was obviously canine related but had very cat like attributes in it's build. I was shocked that something so odd looking was out alomng side the highway while the sun was up and for everyone to see. |
