K, So here is an account from My Brother as he posted it on my faceCrook page.
First off my brother in uneducated by way of Cryptoids. He told me about it because he knows of my personal interest and research. I'm nerd legend in my home.
This is the actual correspondence. I found his account consistent with others. His grammar is lacking. So get over it.
Joseph sooooo i saw a real live sea monster ...thought you'd like to know . it was really crazy. it was only a few feet from me while i was surfing this weekend with another surfer ...scared the crap out of her too.

Size, shape, color, what Sound were you surfing in? There has been some alleged sightings all over the West coast. Was it serpentine? Any appendages? Could it just have been a ribbon fish? If you're for real about this I'd like some specifics so I can catalog and do some research. What temp is the water? What time of day? What activitiy did you witness it doing? Was there a lot of kelp beds around? Or was it open water? Yeah, I'm a nerd.

it was about 44 degrees 5:00am all i saw was its head and neck im dead serious about it . there are kelp beds near there. anywhere you find that temp of water you get large kelp no one was around. i had just pissed in the ocean about 15 minutes b4 and thats where it popped up at . i had that happen with sharks and baracuda in samoa when i lived there. they can smell the blood and hormones in the pee. the weird thing is its head was about 3-4 foot by 3-4 foot it was huge and kind of a cross between a cow and a dogs head .. curly blond hair like a long haired golden retriever . attached to a 6 foot kneck i couldnt see the body but it was huge we watched it for 10-15 min it was just swimming around. it look like it was looking for something ...i got the impression it was a herbivore . i checked to see if there had been any sightings but couldnt find any on the net ..one in 1900s i do know that sailors have drawn pictures of a hairy faced sea creature in the 1200s 1500s and 1700s .

it was no other animal. iv swam with every kind of sea creature you can think of from octs to sharks to whales and everything in between. i know the ocean pretty well and i know most of the known fish and wildlife that live and depend on it and it was nothing i have seen before .
