I know Bigfoot exists because I saw him !

I would like to relate a sighting of my own that took place when I was around eight years old. I was with my father and one of my older sisters when this sighting took place. After many years of keeping this secrect , I only recently, a year ago shared it with the BFRO. After being interviewed, my sister and I, my story was published on the BFRO website. Here is how my story goes.

It was late in the autum. My dad was a tobbacco farmer in Davidson County North Carolina. Our land was divided by the Yadkin river. On the other side of the river was Davie County.
We lived in a very remote area at the time. It was in the year of 1967 that this occurred. We had no close neighbors. Our home was miles away from town, Lexington. The land was next to the river, and hundreds of acres of trees and thickets, creeks and hills covered the land.
One late evening in lte September, my father and Linda my sister and myself were coming from a tobbacoo field. My dad on his tractor, me on his lap, and my sister on the back of the tractor.
We came to the little, sandy dirt road that led up to our tobbaco barn. It was almost dusk, and my dad had turned on the lights of the tractor. Out from the woods from behind our barn stepped (what at first looked like a huge man) this creature. Iat stepped right in front of the tractor letting the lights shine on him. It showed no fear. My dad slamed on the brakes. We could not believe our eyes. There no more than 10 foot away from us stood this man like creature at least 8 to 10 foot tall starring at us. It was covered in what looked to be a very dark hair. It was not shaggy, but had a neat appearance, no more than a inch long. It's face had characteristics of a prehistoric man and gorellia combined. That is the only way I know how to describe this thing. The shoulders was at least 3 to 4 foot wide and from where I was, it appeared to have no neck. It's arms hung almost to its knees and had hands. The nose looked some what flat with very large With outany warning , it causually took one big step and was in the cover of the thick trees and thickests. As I said before, my dad threw the tractor in neutral and told my sister Linda to get up front with me.Dad climbed down and went into the woods to see what it was. I was so afriad that I started crying. This thing was huge. My dad was a big man and this thing made him look like drawf.
My dad came back in a hurry , took us back to the house, grabbed his rifel and got his coon hounds ready to go hunt this thing.
He never found it. We were told not to even discuss this with outsiders because people would think that we were crazy.
Recently there have been many sighting in Davidson County in the same area that I was raised and in the adjoining Davie County.
I know that there is a creature out there that is surviving that scientist have yet to find. To the skeptics I would say that I do not care if you believe me or not. I know what I saw that evening, and if you had starred at one stright in the face no more than ten foot away , you would believe too!! I am now 47 years of age and the sighting stands out in my mind as if it were yesterday. My father since has passed, but we always talked about what us three saw that day.

If you wish to discuss this sighting, please go to the Sightings talk topic in the forum.
