Modern Day Pterosaur
posted by Karl <karlr1157@yahoo.com> on March 25, 2006, 7:57 pm
In Africa it's called Kongamoto, in Papua New Guinea it's known as Ropen. Other names apply in other places, but it's basically the same animal; a modern day pterosaur. Can such a creature exist. In my opinion, it is as unlikely as the thunderbird because such a creature would be very obvious against the sky. Most likely, it is simply a large bat whose size is greatly exaggerated. Still, the improbable has spit in my eye before, and will most likely do it again. In this case, I sure hope so.
