Absolutley,positively a moonsnail.My mom's a marine biologist with 3 summod degrees,i should know.I see them on the intertidal flats all the time.

those snails are neat. i always finds its shells washed up on the beach. first i get a stick or hanger to tease out the hermit crab that is living in it and then gives the shell to friend who makes crafts

I'm with grendel23....it's just a sea slug. It looks like it's wrapped around the shell of a clam. But that shell you see in the centre is not part of the slug.
