Comment by: jesusfreak on Oct 13, 2008

Comment by: carter_farms_a_fairy_tale_IMO on Dec 02, 2006
Holy crap its Clifford the big red dog attacking the loch ness monster !

Comment by: kryptidkid on Nov 14, 2006
It is the picture of a dog then shadowed and the toy in his mouth was enhanced in photo shop and the dog was faded to look like a wave

Comment by: Cryptogurl6657 on Nov 13, 2006
The dog looks like it's swimming in a lake or something. It's owner probably threw that stick in there, and the dog swam out to fetch it. If any one of you saw JAWS, it looks a lot like that part with the lab in the water, fetching a stick, before getting eaten by the shark.

Comment by: zDBZ on Nov 08, 2006
If this is a photograph of a dog with a stick in its mouth, then why is the lab's head the only sign of a dog in the entire photo? Furthermore, the "stick" looks very thick, and the dog seems to barely have it in its mouth at all.

Not trying to call you wrong just like "that," but this explanation always struck me as odd.

A highly informed and intelligent remark and one that I will take on board from someone who has such obviously huge and tremendous mental capabilities............doh!!!

Comment by: lizardman99792 on Oct 18, 2006
it sucks

Comment by: nessietarius on Oct 15, 2006
puppyluvr needs to read into the background of the Loch Ness mystery and then she will realise that it is supposed to look like a dog with a stick in its mouth....overemphasised for those with an interest. Would love some lessons on photoshop

Comment by: Siren on Oct 12, 2006
The original of this photo was extreemly blurry and was known as the "first photo" of Nessie. Obviously through ENCHANCING the photo we can see it was just a blurry picture of a dog fetching a stick.

Comment by: Puppyluvr on Oct 10, 2006
What is this even supposed to be? If its supposed to be nessie, it is not good. Just looks like a photoshopped pic of a dog to me, and a bad one at that.....

Comment by: TeamToxicShock on Oct 09, 2006
It looks like the Sergen's "Photo" of Nessie enfused with a dog... But Good None the Less

Comment by: Owen on Oct 06, 2006
Oh my Dog it looks like a dog with a humans leg in its mouth.

Comment by: Dizon__100 on Oct 03, 2006
weird

Comment by: Dodo on Sep 20, 2006
i seen the picture, but it didn't have a dog like face

Comment by: ZERO_NIGHTMARE on Sep 16, 2006
its a noob's photoshoping...

Comment by: Raeven on Sep 15, 2006
They exposed this as a dog on an episode of "Animal X" a couple of years ago. Always looked like a fuzzy dog photo to me. I believe in Nessie even so.

Comment by: I_am_a_werewolf on Sep 14, 2006
Oh yeah......I never noticed that before....

Comment by: ZERO_NIGHTMARE on Sep 10, 2006
on page 9 people! scroll down and clik on 9

Comment by: nessietarius on Sep 05, 2006
sorry but with a double exposure you will get this affect............nice? no sad

Comment by: Cthulhu "Two Sheds" Jackson on Sep 05, 2006
I notice you forgot to photoshop away the waves we can see through the dog's head. Nice.

Comment by: barkoczy on Sep 03, 2006
If this is a serious photographic enhancement, based upon the picture on page 9 as mentioned earlier, then I am impressed. I have a similar project myself, so I am more sympathetic than you might imagine.

Comment by: ZERO_NIGHTMARE on Sep 03, 2006
didnt any of you go on page 9!?!

Comment by: Nyarlethotep on Sep 02, 2006
I prefer Yarri's rendition in the gallery. I never really bought the twenty foot tall labrador theory.

Comment by: barkoczy on Sep 02, 2006
Man, if only I could find image enhancememnt as powerful as the one you used...Did you use an SPIT algorithm, or was it a highpass filter and zooming with an interpolation processes? Ya know, I have heard rumors of a gigantic dog, redish in coloration, who roams the vast wastes of Canada. He goes by the folk name...Clifford.

Comment by: Didus on Aug 31, 2006
it looks like a swimming dog, with stick in mouth

Comment by: TheDude0716 on Aug 31, 2006
I enhanced this photo myself, and i got the same result as this guy, just fiddle with the contrast.

Comment by: swohyocal on Aug 30, 2006
can anyone tell me where the original photo is? I'd sorta like to see for myself what it takes to bring out the dog....

Comment by: nessietarius on Aug 29, 2006
well I did have to use photoshop and quite a bit of it on this but in fairness the image came together very easily by using the existing contours and shadows

Comment by: swohyocal on Aug 29, 2006
cryptomental, yep, and according to them, all they had to do to bring out the dog was play with the image contrast, so no photoshop magic there.....atleast according to the narrator of the show

Comment by: cryptomental on Aug 29, 2006
ive seen this picture before they did a documentary on national geographic called paranormal lake monsters

Comment by: Red Hot Chili Peppers on Aug 28, 2006
Specimens of a cryptid, in my opinion, are needed for the confirmation of the creature.Photos may pose questions, yet never provide all the evidence. This may be very apparent to many of you, but my citation is for those who consider photos real proof.

Comment by: Red Hot Chili Peppers on Aug 28, 2006
It could, perhaps, be a dog.But remember that virtually no photo can either prove or disprove the existence of a creature. If there is no specimen, then there isn't absolute proof.I

Comment by: nessietarius on Aug 28, 2006
in relation to the wave pattern.the dogs body would be under the water!

Comment by: Marvolo Nevra on Aug 27, 2006
It's a labradog! I have a black 1.

Comment by: YarriWarrior on Aug 27, 2006
You should have altered the shadow too, as it doesn't match what you changed behind it. And the fact that the wave pattern on the water makes that one gigantic dog. Yarri

Comment by: spitfirebird on Aug 27, 2006
Bah! Looks nothing like the nessie photo! Definatly photo-shopped.

Comment by: swohyocal on Aug 27, 2006
That's a Nessie neckbone that dog's got in its mouth! What more proof do you need!!!

Comment by: ZERO_NIGHTMARE on Aug 27, 2006
look on page 9

Comment by: ZERO_NIGHTMARE on Aug 27, 2006
definatly phoshopped... looks nothing like nessie... plus- its was just dun like that in a book for an example... so its still unexplainable...which is good and kinda bad...but mostly good... case closed!... well not really...

Comment by: nessietarius on Aug 27, 2006
a little bit of both, but ultimately to see what the photo was all about

Comment by: mythbusterZMan on Aug 27, 2006
Enhanced, or just plain photoshopped?
