It's common knowledge, meaning I can't find the original source for this, that the first eyewitness of the Beast of Gevaudan was saved from its attack by her own cattle.
La Bete is a difficult creature to draw because, unlike the supposed shunka warak'in killed in Montana, there is no single definitive image and the descriptions suggest it may have been a misidentified known animal. I settled on a giant, basically wolflike cryptid with hints of cat. |
