Comment by: elch4vit0 on Oct 03, 2008

Comment by: dudemesiter on Sep 29, 2008
It is definitely a Bipes Biporus, or Mexican Mole Lizard. Just look it up on wikispecies, this I know without a doubt.

Comment by: Jolttra on Sep 11, 2008
I think its a albino snake with small legs. There are real versions of both, just not at the same time.

Comment by: adude31 on Jul 15, 2008

Comment by: Flowerheart on Jun 19, 2008
i have seen those...i cant remember what they r

Comment by: Sordes on May 21, 2008
Subsplot, they are not called slow-worms in Europe, this is a completely different family. The name "slow-worm" refers to Anguis fragilis, which is not very closely related to the Bipes species.

Comment by: demon_hunter73 on May 14, 2008
Oh my jesus! People, come on. They're Their and There are three different words with three different meanings.

Comment by: PVRPLE-GRIMACE on Apr 15, 2008

wth......it looks like somethin off of the movie ALIEN.........wierd.....lol

Comment by: Subsplot on Dec 28, 2007
Mexican Mole Worm, actually not a worm or a snake but a lizard. In Europe they're called Slow Worms or Legless Lizards but over here they lack those two front limbs having only rudimentry skeletal ones that remain buried under the skin. Seems the central american version decided to keep its front ones, to useful for digging for insects I guess. Can never get over how close those front paws are to a moless, but then their very little idffrence between the human eye and a squids.

Comment by: Gaz on Nov 28, 2007
i know that there's a species of worm or snake or something along those lines that has legs, but their eyes are much smaller. this is interesting.

Comment by: soundbreaker on Nov 21, 2007

Comment by: crypto_girl2010 on Oct 31, 2007

Comment by: POTATOES on Oct 27, 2007
RUN SNAKE...ER...WORM....RUN!!!!!

Comment by: moco on Sep 24, 2007
Although I have forgotten what they're called, it's not a worm with glued on legs, it's a real animal lizard thing, they're mentioned in this book my sister has. And they're not restricted to Mexico and stuff, there was one that I found in my backyard in Southern Ca a few years back, I think I was nine maybe. It was disgusting, NOT CUTE IN ANY WAY, and I tried to smash it with a shovel but it got away before I could... oh well I guess.

Comment by: Lycandrake on Aug 02, 2007
Something in the Bipes family. Tatzelwurm could be a relative. As for the Mongolian Death Worm, it is most likely a new spitting cobra.

Comment by: Crypto-crite45 on Jul 13, 2007
wow some people are like.....nvm....but glued legs on a worm? lol, worms dont have mouths or nostrils or eyes so cancel that out. a wormsnake? those two arent even in the same phylum. its a relative of the skink. its a lizard with no hind legs and a long bodytail

Comment by: MEG2th on Jun 27, 2007
it would be funny to see that thing running

Comment by: Sordes on Jun 20, 2007
This is a normal species, either Bipes canaliculatus or Bipes Biporus. I have already seen one in a museum.

Comment by: Wentworth on Jun 08, 2007
Tatzelworm, definintly!

Comment by: Paleobiologist on May 23, 2007

Comment by: jaymar bulk on May 19, 2007

Comment by: xx-Black_Rainbow-xx on May 16, 2007
How beautiful. There is actually an animal like this. Somewhere in South America. I love its coloring.

Comment by: piefight1 on May 11, 2007
who glued arms to a worm?????

Comment by: Crypticlover on May 05, 2007
TAZELWORM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment by: Sordes on May 02, 2007
The tatzelwurm comes from the european alps, but the species Bipes biporus is only known from the american continent, so it is very hard that there is any connection.

Comment by: predator755 on Apr 20, 2007
i do believe this is a relative of the tatzel worm. these are part of the reptile family amphisbaenians. basically just underground lizards. cool little critters. i believe the tatzel worm is the worm lizards asian cousin. you have to admit it is a sound explanation.

Comment by: cryptid huntr on Mar 21, 2007

Comment by: K-T Survivor on Dec 30, 2006
I've seen those. They are a group of reptiles within the order squomata called the amcecelians not to be confused with the cecelians. They are technicly groped as lizards, but they are a kind of between group.

Comment by: Ahuizotl on Dec 12, 2006

Comment by: AbeLincoln_ROCKZ_ on Nov 11, 2006
It is a very mysterious reptile called an anphisbiannot to be mistaken with anphibian. They burrow in the ground like gophers. Just do a Google search. And any more recent reptile encyclopedia should have it.

Comment by: Glass Shadow on May 27, 2006
Although this tiny, cute, little thing is not real... We here at the lab have checked out the gender thoroughly and may now announce that this is, infact, Phillip.

Comment by: crypted_newby on Apr 16, 2006
i think that some realitive of this might have been mistaken for the tazul worm like the more snake like one on the first or second page.

Comment by: Sordes on Apr 12, 2006
This animals are from souther America, and there is really no connection to the Tatzelwurm.

Comment by: strange_but_true on Apr 12, 2006

Comment by: dharok on Mar 15, 2006
omg

Comment by: Grossenschwaum on Mar 12, 2006
It's called a cacilian. However that's spelled. They're amphibians salamanders. The first time one was seen, the person studying it thought it was a mutant eathworm and didn' notice the eyes. Then, it bit him.

Comment by: BlakeAnthonyDizon on Mar 10, 2006
Maybe it's a snake and a frog or lizard any reptile mixed with a snake.

Comment by: xmikerabx on Mar 09, 2006
whatever that fella is he sure has a cute little face.

Comment by: Daikari717 on Mar 08, 2006
id go with a type of skink

Comment by: Cryptid_Crazy on Mar 07, 2006
I agree, a mole snake worm thingy, and a possible identity for the mongolian death worm, but if that's so, has this creature been known to spit a venom of any kind. If not then it can't be a possible identity.

Comment by: goblin_king on Mar 07, 2006
we have found dino life

Comment by: Cryptid Catcher on Mar 07, 2006
The claws and the shape of the feet are right but they look way too flimsy for burrowing. I'm not saying they couldn't though.

Comment by: Cryptophsyco on Mar 01, 2006
and lets throw in a skink

Comment by: Cryptophsyco on Mar 01, 2006
it looks like a mole worm snake..., a thingy

Comment by: Sordes on Feb 28, 2006
And this animal is no axolotl, and it is also no relative of skinks.

Comment by: dragon_draconis on Feb 26, 2006
cyclopes bel jovag, They are called A.X.O.L.O.T.L.S,not ajolote.

Comment by: Extinct on Feb 25, 2006
it bears similarities with a Skink, though...

Comment by: Bel Jovag on Feb 21, 2006
No! Ajolotes live in central Mexico and they're just salamanders that live their whole life as larvae, and can still reproduce. The animal in the picture is just what Sordes says. There are similar ones in northern Mexico and Southern USA, but they're not called ajolotes. I don't remember what they're called.

Comment by: Cyclopes on Feb 04, 2006
This is an ajolote. It is found in Baja California, Mexico. There are similar species in Arizona, U.S.

Comment by: Kraken666 on Jan 31, 2006
Doesn't look as exciting though!

Comment by: 12yearoldcryptozoologist on Jan 30, 2006
Yes it is a possible identity for the Mongolian Death Worm.

Comment by: Sordes on Jan 26, 2006
This creature is an actual animal, a Bipes canaliculatus or a Bipes Biporus.
This burowing reptiles comes from South America.
