Subject: Raspberries

As in the "thurrrrp" noise.

The idea of recommendations for posts is good (in principle), but I sometimes see a post totally devoid of replies - or merit - boasting several recommendations which I can only conclude came from the poster h/self.

Is it technically feasible (= does Cisco know how to...)
1/ show the name of the recommenders, and
2/ have a alternative rating of "raspberries" for those who rate the post as, in monastic parlance, carp food?

Cheers, Dick.

That sounds like a good idea Dick. Wonder of we could get sound on those rasberries? hehe

There are times when I will post something, be gone a day or two, come back and check the post. There will be gobs of recommendations and no replies?? And I usually don't recommend my posts.

People can recommend a post which contains an interesting news article, but there might be little more to say about that.

dick, i sometimes recommend the terrible-&/or-horrible forum submission, as i am wanting others to note just how horrible it is. does that make me a bad person?

hate me if you'd like to, but sometimes i want the sheer idiocy that appears hear to be brought to the site forefront just do we can all mark it and try not to repeat it.....

Umm, well, pretty irredeemable, I'd say. Not wishing to appear judgemental, of course :-)
