We had an $800 gambling bill show up on our checking bill through PayPal. PayPal refused to do anything to resolve this, even with evidence on their end showing we did not access the account during this period. Thankfully, the gambling site worked with us and the bank caved in to my fist being pounded on the manager's desk with an angry voice. However, thousands and thousands of people were not so lucky. Some people's accounts have been tied up for the better part of a decade along with thousands of dollars. PayPal does nothing other than let your money become theirs. I think a Donate button would be a good idea, although anyone with a PayPal account can send Cisco money easily anyway. A button on the site, that when you pressed it, you were given a choice of several select beers or wines. Then when someone donated, that night my doorbell will ring with a delivery from the local liquor store! I like it!
