Hell, I can generate electricity, too, if I walk across a carpet on a cool, dry morning. And my spit is a corrosive chemical, primarily used to start the digestive process of food digestion. Acidic maybe, but not acid. It could very well be a sort of under ground spitting cobra thats been exaggerated.
