RIP Bob i was allways captivated and motivated by what he brought to the search for Nessie over the years. To me he will allways be one of the important figures in the whole story and he had a lot of interesting ideas and methods which is a shame with the controversy over the re-touching of the 1972 flipper pictures.

Definitely. He had quite an amazing list of accomplishments. Surely he will be missed by many.

I had a feeling the last time I saw him on TV he wasn't going to with us much longer. It was quite amazing all the pros and cons that were started by the "flipper" shots and of course the "Head" shot. Dr, Rhines had many important people, including Doc Edgerton thinking that there "may" just be something to this Loch Ness mystery. In all those years, he never really gave up. His research into the Loch bed actually did bring some interesting and positive results in topics that had noting to do with Nessie. RIP Sir.
