Well, why don't you toddle on up to Hominids & check out Brad's latest thread? To me, it encapsulates part of the problem faced by the 'BF' community. In trying to centralise their resources, they're only distancing themselves from true objectivity. The PNW would seem the likeliest chance for any 'proof' IMO.

I meant the seeming exclusiveness of it all. No room for non-believers, & only Americans are allowed to have an opinion, is what I read. To me, he immediately got off on the wrong foot by naming the names he wanted in his club.

I didn't get that idea at all from reading his post, he was merely listing people he thought would be interested in contributing that could write half way decent. After all, had he just made a blanket statement asking for submissions, just think of the number of people who would ask to write a article? Cisco did that with the blogs, which is how we got Phil and others. I figure subscription would be open to all.

Maybe I'm approaching (approaching?) uber-cynicism.

The politics and the E vs C forum have just about made me give up any faith in humanity, so I know what you mean...

Forget laotian rock rats. I want a multituberculate or some other such primitive mammal to show up. Perhaps surviving descendants of the New Zealand St. Bathans critter.
