Joe,
Something I noticed that Cisco pointed out: my password was case sensitive on the new server whereas the old server didn't care about case sensitive. There was two letters in my password that were capitalized and I forgot after continually loging in without upper-casing them.

yeah I tried it both ways and it didn't matter, but with the new direct log-in all is well and working again. Thanks for the info though.
