I always wanted to have a thread with that title.
Well, no, I didn't really. I think 'Spade Faced Minger' is much.......anyway......
I agree with the methodology underpinning your post with regards to keeping it simple, & I've always found that that's the best way to get results regarding wildlife, even reclusive, rarely-seen animals. And, like you, I always advocate that the biggest problem is time. It's a big commitment to make, both in terms of time & losing out on earnings that pay those bills. But I suppose that all that might not matter at all if you can make arrangements to cover, or you don't have those ties to start off with (or rich). |

Well, I don’t know nuttin about no Creamola Foam, but I do think that Gerry hit the nail on the head! Gerry, ‘Bob’ and I had this discussion at our local Tim Horton’s a little while back. It makes perfect sense to me. Maybe, if we spent our time just trying to survive living off the land Bigfoot might show up to give us a pointer or two. (Or to find out who is breaking all that wind continually in his territory!) He (and she) are obviously good at surviving in this desolate place. Maybe those reported deep throat rumbles are a form of laughter? Could be… And Gerry, the line is: "I fart in your general direction!" Trust me on this, I know my fart lines from the movies!!!

Just forget about everything, forget about work and ties and family, get a ton of canned beans and set out for the woods. Plenty warm clothes and a good tent. Also an slingshot, in case a bear goes by. OK, make that half a ton of beans and half a ton of meatballs.... |

I could do that... And I could produce some strange woodland noises myself on a diet like that! Give the Big Guy a run for his money! (Bigfoot, not Gerry!)
