Hello Kim, I posted a message for you in Off Topic, you may not have seen it. It was regarding something you wrote yay back. Becca pointed me in the right direction but didn't give any place names etc., & I wondered if you might help. You mentioned tiny ruins next to 'proper size' ruins in Mexico, & reports about small people being sighted, a night watchman being pelted with little rocks etc.. Where is this? Is there anything down on paper about it? Curious. Cheers.

Why is that old movies all seem to have a population of *Thinks of Politically correct term* "Little People" in them? |

Aboriginal tribes in the far north of Australia.... will get back to you with a link, I may have read something on "Yowhie Hunters.com", interesting when you consider the recent discovery of "hobbits" in Malaysia (?)... which is obviously quite near geographically.
Sorry, have been busy with work... holy hornet's nest you and SS stirred up! Hang in there, you're a total (ass) et to this site, when you're not being a dick (IMOP!! haha). Seriously though, I value your input more than you could know. Keep up the fantastic work, I appreciate it, and I'm sure every other regular visitor here does also. Your posts are always excellent and on point, but more importantly, you take as good as you give, the true mark of a man.
Best. |

When the name change?
I seem to remember that this was in Central or South America. Mayan ruins spring to mind. Sifting through the miasma of my memory backlog, I remember having an original & rational idea for explanation about this. Then the pub opened, & that was that. Something to do with sacred animals or something. And how some cultures built elaborate structures for beasts they worshipped (then slaughtered sometimes).
Malaysia & Australia aren't that close - over 3,000 miles. And I don't believe homo floresiensis has been fully established as a distinct species as yet due to there only being one intact skull & microencephaly not ruled out. There's a way to go yet, should new discoveries arise.
Not so much a hornet's nest, more of a termite mound IMO....

Stu, peruse the site "Science Frontiers". They have a good search engine. This site covers anomalies found since the '70, I think. When anything is cleared out, they point it, too. They have info concerning them small ruins. Like "real" houses, but to a scale, perhaps 2/3?. |
