I used to live in Illinois, and IIRC those two are in the Field Museum, Chicago. The Field also has the maneater of Mfuwe, as well.
Also, the story behind those two gave rise to the movie a few years back entitled "The Ghost and the Darkness."

Man-Eaters of Kumaon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And if you like stories about maneaters I reccomend The Maneaters of Kumaon by Col. Jim Corbett. He made a career of hunting maneating tigers and leopards in India for many years.

Really enjoyed that book, but didn't know a movie had been made. I'll have to see if I can track it down.

Or you can pick up Nine Maneaters And One Rogue by Kenneth Anderson, he was the South India version of Corbett.

Still a formidable body count for any beast.......is there a league table somewhere of multi kills by individual animals ? The Tsava story is still quite amazing by any standards.

I recommend the any book by Peter H.Capstick. "Maneaters", "Death in the Long Grass" or "The Maneaters of Tsavo" are very good reads.
See, Gerry? I told you I'd check in soon. Gawd, it's been like, forever. Might even post again if I get to feeling saucy.

I've read this one at least 10x!
