I used to live in Illinois, and IIRC those two are in the Field Museum, Chicago. The Field also has the maneater of Mfuwe, as well. Also, the story behind those two gave rise to the movie a few years back entitled "The Ghost and the Darkness." |

Still a formidable body count for any beast.......is there a league table somewhere of multi kills by individual animals ? The Tsava story is still quite amazing by any standards. |

I recommend the any book by Peter H.Capstick. "Maneaters", "Death in the Long Grass" or "The Maneaters of Tsavo" are very good reads. See, Gerry? I told you I'd check in soon. Gawd, it's been like, forever. Might even post again if I get to feeling saucy. |
