Look, I don't care what you call it: Quantum Mechanics, the power of Faith, or Divine intervention, but prayers, no matter what religion or language they are in, be it Native American, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, whatever, have an effect. I've seen the power of prayer and Faith. If you don't believe in G_d, call it mind over matter. You can call it Allah, Yaweh, Jesus, Sheiba, Creator, whatever, but it works. Scientists have actually shown that electrons act differently when we think about them. This is a scientific fact.
However, I do not believe that there are demonic entities infesting our living realm. I think most "demons" are physical manifestations of our own negative energy. They are potent none the less, but these "beings", i believe, are not traditional "fire and brimstone" demons.
Finally, I must say that the story is quite suspect. It sounds like a young child's short story: My dogs got hurt, but they eventually beat the big, bad monster. I'm sorry, I simply just don't believe you...
