My directv dvr did one of its "updates" a couple days ago. Where it becomes unavailable for me to watch tv, and it talks with its other robot buddies through the satellite, and ignores me pushing on the remote buttons like a monkey on crack. After it was done, I went back to watching tv.
Then, today, I'm watching Keith Olberman, when ... SWITCH! My tv changes to SURVIVOR: SAMOA or some such island. I grab the remote, while spitting out some vile language at my dvr, then I come to find out ... its busy RECORDING Survivor - I check, and its set to record the whole series of Survivor! What the hockey puck?? I didn't do that! In fact, I hadn't set any recording options for a couple weeks, at least.
Which made me remember ... did directv's little "update" program my dvr to get Survivor? |
