Interesting at the least is all I'll say.

On his next stop, he heads to Texas with the hair Jael found and has it analyzed by an expert. After running the DNA samples through an international database with millions of animals on file, they discover the hair came from a primate that has yet to be identified by experts.

Is it the hair from a Yeti? Only further investigation will tell, but some of the most convincing evidence discovered by Josh and his crew has come from their searches for the mysterious Yeti. Perhaps we are one step closer to closing the gap between the primate species.

I saw the episode. I do not feel as bad about the show as some on this sight. That is niether here nor there. They had some hits on the thermal. They looked like a bear or tiger. Did not look like a biped to me. I know the show is produced for entertainment purposes. They try to build suspense and what not. I just wish they would subtract about 5 minutes of fluff and add a little science. Did they check for tracks the next day? What about the other sample of hair? Plus, you have at least 4 people walking through a forest with light and making a whole bunch of noise. Do they really think they are going to find something? I did like the report on the hair. Lets send it to another lab, then get a team to spend a couple months in Bhutan. Funding anyone?

Should the experts not be able to tell you what species it is similar to? I have no doubt there are undiscovered species of macaques or langurs, possibly even gibbons, but I have doubts about great apes/other humans.

I enjoy t he show, even though they do get a little goofy at times. This hair sample is quite interesting, and excellent evidence, IMO.
