You're right it is very cool, but also very sad. I'd never seen those pics of the quagga either. At least with the thylacine there is a small possibility that it still exists, maybe on the mainland if not in Tassie itself. I cannot describe how overjoyed I would be if the found one. There have been a number of sightings both in the Grampians in Victoria and the Flinders ranges in Sth Aus. Maybe people weren't mistaken, hopefully people weren't mistaken; but if they were, I hope we manage to find a way to help the devils. It would be a very great tragedy if we let them go the way of the others. |
