That is extremely interesting! How much you wanna bet that more "jurasic park" type questions will be asked? It seems every time someone finds a beastie in amber, someone, somewhere thinks "can we clone it?"
On a side note: I have a few small pieces of amber that have moss inside them. Not a bug, but still cool to look at. |

Can you post pics of these?
Here's a Green Man pendant carved out of mammoth ivory, set in 9k gold, I found in a little Yorkshire ales village shop a few months ago. Beautiful, & worth it at £180, but, alas, my bank balance just wasn't up to it. |

Sorry Stu, but it's packed away in a box and I'm not sure which one! I still haven't unpacked them from the move, because I rarely wear jewlery.
I also have a "fake amber" bracelet with moss in it from my granny (It was all the rage many moons ago). It's made with epoxy IIRC. |
