Why it is on books? Because books is the best source, internet takes everything from books, and not everything is going in internet, however we have 28 meters accounts in past even in Internet and 2 times in books, but we have also no books about 25 meters pliosaur, and we have a lot of sites that mention that it's normal size is 16 meters, and we have even sites that say that these fossils didn't belong to pliosaur at all, so, position of pliosaur is not really good, while sperm whale's position at "Largest toothed creature to ever inhabit the earth" is very very good, because of his size, on which you can read 1991 guiness record book and oil history site and book by Jacues Custaue and many more books about whales in which there is accounts of 25-28 meters for largest lone males which would weigh far more than this pliosaur freak. |

That pliosaur isn't a freak.
I know there is some bones which belonged in fact to some dinosaurs, but I'm talking about the newest skeleton found in mexico, not the isolated remains.
Books don't tell all, like internet.
Listen to me : a pliosaur neraly complete found in mexico. It's 18 m, it's juvenile, it's obligatorly a freak, among thousands of the other specimen that lived at his time. Then, it was killed by an adult with 40 cm teeth. It's estimated the adult was 25 m. The adult was a freak too. If you say that again, I'll have the proof you're in fact a moron. The chance for that was a freaj are ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. You don't want it wasn't a freak. |

What, books tell more than internet, don't be one of these stupid guys, who look in internet first and then search in books, ok, it was probably bitten by guy bigger than him, it wasn't for sure, but even those site indicate it was freak, so, bye bye pliosaur, time to return to reality, it's ridiculous to say that this guy wasn't a freak, while all sites indicate that it was, this is what morons do, actually not morons, but people who know nothing on other animals, only about one particular that they like, and they will never agree with anything else, like with the fact that their favourite pliosaur is not the largest and most fierce predator. Ok you are wrong, adult wasn't estimated at anythyng, it was just a version that this juvenile was bitten by other pliosaur, it is said MAYBE there are you blind or what, MAYBE it was bitten by other guy, and maybe other guy was the same size, plus is this a reliable site? NO it is site that one guy made and this guy knows nothing on SW otherwise he wouldn't write that this is largest predator, while SW is far larger, I say to you once again, it was a freak all sites indicate it, only you don't want to face facts because of your precious pliosaur that you like the most, while there is animal far superior in strength and weapons than you precious pliosaur, as a scientist wrote in mad science pliosaur has no chance in hell, so, please stop repeating your thoughts that pliosaurs were 25 meters and face reality, that pliosaurs are 16 meters on average, smaller than average SW bull, that's what fossils indicate, and not what these guys on those site write, they only proposed, the didn't have any proof that it was beaten by another pliosaur, and therefore, it is only your dream that 25 meters pliosaur is not freak, please put facts and do research instead of taking things from your head, I gave you facts that there are 25 meters and maybe even 28 meters SW which would kill any pliosaur in no time, you gave me only half of proof that there was 25 meters pliosaur, while most scientists decline that it was pliosaur at all, but anyway largest pliosaur known for today is 25 meters long freak, while other pliosaurs were no longer than 16 meters. Lights out, SW wins, BUT you will not admit it because you love plosaurs and willl try to convince me that he will be bigger, while he is smaller and lighter (that is what facts and scientists say, not Pliosaur FANS) |

You don't anything about what you're talking !
We're don't sure of what species of pliosaur it is. There are some fragments in England bleonging to 20 m pliosaur.
And that pliosaur in mexico was just a juvenile, and not a freak ! NO SCIENTIST OR BOOK OR WEBSITE HAS EVER SAID, ARE YOU STUPID OR WHAT ? And it was killed by a far larger pliosaur, around 25 m, there are many sites which say that , and good website.
Why do you say there are wrong ?
Ok, if there are wrong, I consider you're a fool and all what you say about sperm whale is idiot and ridiculous.
If you can't give good links, good argument and if you continue to believe I'm dumb, I don't anymore tlaking about that with you.

1. How old are you, Ted?
2. not only Custae mentions 28 meters sperm whale but other sources as well, so, there were such animals in 18-19 centuries, the thing why scientists don't say it is true is because they didn't see them, why didn't they see them? simply because there were no scientists at those times, only source is logbooks of captains of whale ships, and these sources indicate 90 feet sperm whales, big lone bulls, as you understand whalers had a very good oportunity to measure whales, and the only source of information about ancient sperm whales are whaler's reports.

I have several newer books which quote the size of giant pliosaurs with 25m... The guinnes-books says only that there is a jaw of an estimated 25m sperm whale, not a 28m one, and the things Cousteau said, are often not right. Only because he was a great marine researcher, not every anekdote he told was in fact true. He thougth that 12m would be a normal size for great whites, is this true only why Cousteau said it? |

of course not, but as we see not only Custae says 28 meters Sperm whales but oil history and museums, so, there were 25 for sure and most likely 28 meters long sperm whales. Read books instead of reading shit posted in internet by addicted pliosaur fans that pliosaur is the biggest carnivore, all scientists know SW is largest toothed creature to ever exist. and about great whites? well great whites are shorter than orcas and lighter, largest recorded was 7 tons while largest orca was 10 tons, and one more thing, orcas kill great white one on one very often, just for fun. |

Sperm whale is the largest toothed creature ever if there were 28 m specimenn what I'm awaiting more proof.
I have a book of Cousteau and he didn't wrote anything about this.
Then I'm searching proof about that 13 m shark tooth found in sperm whale stomach. Interesting thing, there is no 13 m shark with big teeth, only whale whark and basking shark are so big (and that's even rare for the whale shark). |

First it depends on book, second, we know that sperm whale at the same lemgth (25) meters will weigh much more than pliosaur, since there are no larger fossils and average fossils suggest 16 metres reptiles we can assume, that 25 meters pliosaur is the largest we have found now, so, let's use latest information, 25 meters SW versus 25 meters pliosaur, SW is heavier and has more weapons, why are you arguing? And please don't post anything about larger than 25 meters and anything like this, if you think there were larger than 25 meters please give me proof, so, since there is no proof, we assume that 25 meters is largest, and though there is proof that there were 28 meters SW in the world, in at least two sources(oil history and Custae), we take 25 as the largest SW, that's ok, 25 meters versus 25 meters(we don't have proof for bigger in both species) so, again, SW is heavier and has more weapons, and please stop saying that SW has weak jaws, it has very powerful jaws, once male teared in two pieces underwater cable! Do you now how thick it is? But I agree that pliosaur has stronger jaws, but not that stronger, and pliosaur doesn't have as much weapons as sperm whale has to defeat prey, ok if you think that pliosaur will win, come on, tell me how the fight will go, but don't forget that SW will win in at least 50% of times, why? because he will use his sonar and attack from below, simply ram at pliosaur from below, destroying all inner organs and breaking bones of pliosaur's body, but anyway how do you think this fight will develop, I mean what pliosaur will do first, let's take this fight very deeply, what each animal willl do, c'mon, since sperm whale has first strike, I go first: SW detects pliosaur with sonar, dives so deep that pliosaur can't smell it, swimming under pliosaur and then rfom the depth of about 1000 meters (SW dives on 3000 meters), SW starts to gain speed while pliosaur is calmly swimming trying to sniff the prey, but here it is, some smell, pliosaur has perfect smell and swims down to engage prey, but suddenly he sees that something is coming very fast, he opens his jaw and tries to swallow this strange thing or just waits for this thing to come closer, and this strange thing is SW's head, that comes from the deep so fast that pliosaur can't turn to the side and here it is, heavier sperm whale with enormously hard head crushes at pliosaur and pliosaur's head is crushed, lights out, sperm whale eats pliosaur, that's how it is gonna be 50% of the time, but let's start new fight, ok plisaur and SW swim towards each other and there is 2000 km between them, I'm sperm whale, you are pliosaur, let's do it, I already know where you are, your position and aproximate size (sonar), your turn... |

If no give me proof that there were longer pliosaurs, c'mon give me more proof, you don't have it right? 2 25 meters is allready a freaky reptile for this species
