Sad news, and even if people disputed his findings they couldn't dispute that he was one of the legends of Loch Ness research.
To me, he was one of the triumverate of Loch Ness researchers, along with Adrian Shine and of course oor Dick |

For myself, and probably many others, the third name would be "Tim Dinsdale". |
