So he's a cult classic author? I saw that piece on his books on Wikipedia, and decided to change it from to be released in 2006 to has been released recently. And all you guys who read the book should review it on Amazon. You don't have to be registered, because you can always do the kid's version. LOL! I would so love to read that stuff, but if I asked, my mother would kill me. It's probably too old for me anyways. Bye!

I received the book a few days ago and just finished reading it. I found the first book more interesting but this should in no one be construed as criticism of the book. I just thought that Jerry's case study of the Lawndale big birds was masterful and hard to beat. He covered questions that I had been wondering about for years. My favorite in this book was chapter 3 and in particular the Cherokee Cougar. I do hope there will be some conclusive results from the eh - "donated" hair samples. At least we know they were not dyed. A nice touch was including contributions from the members of this forum. All in all, a very informative and entertaining read in my opinion.

Thee was one shocker for me was in the dedication. Perhaps it was posted here and I missed it but I had no idea Mark Chorvinsky had passed on. I always considered him one of the best researchers in cryptozoology and I'm truly saddened that he will no longer be pursuing these mysteries. I do feel good however, that Jerry seems to be following his style and will carry the same objective torch into the future.

I have not yet read Jerry's first book. Just something I haven't gotten around to doing. Maybe soon. Nice to read the good reviews though.

I'll have to order both of them. Has anyone heard from Jerry recently? I had some good coversations with him quite a while ago when he was more active here. :-) Also - I must ask - Is there anything about a melanistic cougar in Utah in More Strange Highways?

Thank you ALL for the interest and support ! Hey Almas, sorry not been around as much of late but a few not too pleasant of things, out of my control had arisen, hoping most of it is now behind me. Anyway to answer your question - no, no investigation of a Utah Black Cougar is mentioned in “More” however as Kraken stated earlier, Ch.3 does contain the complete (to date) investigation of the Cherokee Cougar mount found and originally reported to me by our own member Mike N. a.k.a. Tigerfan .

Hi Jerry,

I was reading your biography on wikpedia and noted that you have been investigatng since 1962. The year before I was born. This fully qualifies you to use the statement " Rangoon, I have been doing this since before you were a gleem in your mothers eye"

Not that I would ever give cause for you to say that, jut that you could get away with it.
